Award winning filmmaker. Renowned photographer.
When your life is far from typical, your work tends to follow suit. Filmmaker, photographer, and touring musician are just some of the ways one can describe Jonathan Greco.
Attending the New York Institute of Technology, Jonathan received the J. Jack Brown Memorial Award for excellence in filmmaking, as well as the school's Gala award for excellence in television production. During his senior year, he acted as Director of Photography on two student films while also working on his own documentary, all the while writing his thesis on the democratization of film production. His passion was clear. Upon graduating cum laude, Jonathan entered the world of freelance photography and filmmaking.
Via his continued work with the Long Island music scene, Jonathan's work has expanded to grammy award winning musical acts and other famed touring bands. His photography has been featured online and on the personal and public pages of several popular musicians.
Jonathan's documentary work continues to receive praise as he moves forward creating mini-docs for bands and businesses. A one man production house, Jonathan often works alone or with a tight-knit crew who he trusts intrinsically.
Thanks to his concert photography work, Jonathan has found himself expanding into other forms of event photography, eventually taking on the weddings of some very special clients. His vast experience in portrait work and event photography combine to create his signature imagery, even within the context of a wedding.
From still life and portrait photography to multi camera concert video shoots, Jonathan has the mental and physical tools for the job. His passion and signature style shine through every new photo or video he produces.
